New Zealand Update

Hai Hai,

Kembali lagi bersama cerita petualangan kami di New Zealand.

Kami sempat menginap di satu kota kecil yang bernama Twizel. Twizel merupakan kota yang sangat tenang (sepi), dan langitnya sangat indah di malam hari. Membuat saya sang pecinta milkyway terkagum – kagum. Agak menyesal karena ga punya kemampuan untuk foto bintang yang keren itu pake kamera yang kami bawa. Kameranya juga bukan kamera canggih, plus ga bawa tripod. Harap maklum, foto – foto bukan tujuan utama kami pas liburan, eh atau mungkin belum? haha….

Sehabis makan malem, saya ga niat kemana-mana, jadi nonton tv santai aja di kasur, terus suami iseng keluar kamar karena ada suara berisik. Pas balik kamar, dia bilang banyak turis dari China bawa kamera dengan tele panjang, lalu dia lihat ke langit bintangnya bagus banget.

Dengan berat hati, saya pake baju hangat, pake boots, pake jaket dan keluar kamar, karena udaranya cuma single digit malam itu. Keluar kamar, saya langsung lihat ke langit. Super woooowwwwwwww. Saya sampe chat Ci Inly malam itu, haha…. Lalu, kami jalan ke luar area hotel, foto – foto di kegelapan (entah apa yang difoto).

Rombongan turis China sampe nyebrang jalan menuju ke tempat gelap yang ga keliatan ujungnya (super gelap) karena memang lampu jalanan juga minim. Terus ya, saya liat bulan, saya bilang ke suami.

“Gila itu bulan deket banget”
Suami jawab “Mana bulan? Itu lampu!”
“Itu bulan!!!”
“Masa sih?”

Pas kita perhatiin iya bener bulan! Gede dan terasa deket, kaya lampu taman hihihi. Super norak!!!

Seolah – olah kita bisa samperin itu bulan, saking terasa deketnya.

Di bawah ini foto saya bersama bulan dengan settingan kamera mirrorless otomatis (alias ga kita keren2in karena males belajar :D) Bulan yang menyerupai lampu taman.

Yes, segelap itu, sampe saya ketakutan (anaknya emang cemen) ga berani jauh dari suami. Terus saya bayangin turis China itu pasti dapet foto yang keren banget dengan milkyway dan bulan yang superb (mereka nyebrang ke arah bulan)!

Kalo kalian berkesempatan berkunjung ke South Island-nya New Zealand, coba masukin Twizel ke dalam itinerary, semalem aja 😀 Hope you love it as I do.

What can I say besides grateful that I could finally visit one of my bucket list country, New Zealand?

We depart from MataMata I-Site. The I-site easy to find, we park our car and re-registration. We booked the ticket in Jakarta, just in case.

I believe most of you, have watched The Lord of The Rings movie many times. And the movie set as good as its look on the movie. OMG.

The weather was perfect. The blue sky, a green green grass, hobbit hole.

We take approximately 2 hours to enjoy the site. The tour guide really nice, he waits patiently while the group tour taking a (lot of) picture. He thanks us because bring the sun along 😀
